People, Places, Things, and Ideas
We are just one week away from our Annual Conference! Have you looked through the preliminary program yet? The number and diversity of sessions can be daunting, but here are some suggested schedules to help get you started:
Focusing on People
Are you working to strengthen relationships with your donors? Are you building more audience-driven programming? Are you interested in connecting with your community? These sessions will help you be mindful of the people you are working with and for as you move forward.

Focusing on Place
From within the walls of your museum, to online communities, to your local school, each institution has unique and powerful potential. Working from theoretical discussions and models of success, explore your own museum’s identity and sense of place.

Collections are at the heart of all museum work. These sessions will focus on managing and caring for these important objects. Industry best practices as well as emerging trends will be explored.

Excited at the prospect of change? Need help with innovation? These sessions will delve into the change that is already at work around the state and beyond, and provide some emerging theory and practical applications to help you get started.
