What are "best practices?" How does the changing nature of information processing and accessibility influence and support the important work done in museums? How do you prioritize and sustain industry standards in your institution with limited resources? How does your institution promote creativity and innovation? Where does innovation intersect with tradition? What other ideas, experiences, and project would you like to share with your colleagues?

Pre-registration is now closed. If you would still like to register for the conference please contact Ruth White.

 

Attendees must be UMA Members (find out more about membership). Conference pre-registration has been extended to September 26, 2015. On September 27 registration fees will be increased by $30. There will be no refunds after September 1.

Conference attendees may choose to bring a guest to the Opening Reception or Awards Dinner. This requires a separate registration. Register guests here.

 

Museum Leadership Dinner

October 6, 2015 | 5:30 - 7:00 pm

Ticket    $45 

Join us for the inaugural UMA Museum Leadership Dinner hosted by Mike L Washburn, Thanksgiving Point President & CEO. This event is open for those in leadership positions at Utah museums. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and enjoy short remarks from this year’s conference keynote Marsha Semmel and philanthropist, Barbara Barrington Jones. Silent Auction
Each year UMA hosts a fundraising silent auction in conjunction with our annual conference. All proceeds support programs that help build the capacity for museums across our state.
