Explore EVERYTHING that's living at the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium (LLPA). The aquarium is locally well-known for its sharks, fish, leopards, and penguins but did you know they have a collection of over 500 species of plants?
Join Lucas Proctor, the Horticulture manager, for an exclusive experiential walking tour of the unique plants inside and outside of the aquarium. Lucas has worked with plants for nearly two decades and has a flair for performing. His passions in the green industry focus on the usability and edibility of plants (he calls it yardening) and the ethnobotanical origins of plants, and he has curated the plant collection to that end. LLPA's mission is to teach and inspire people about Earth's diverse ecosystems and Lucas believes in the critical importance of the plants for the success of our planet. Continue to network with attendees at an optional pay-your-own-way dinner at Black Bear Diner (12057 South State Street) following the tour.
