Join us to learn about the Northwestern Band of the Shoshone Nation and their relationships with the early Mormon pioneers. We will meet at the Cache DUP Museum (park in the lot east of the museum) to carpool to the Bear River Massacre site (just outside of Preston, ID) where we will attend the program commemorating the massacre in 1863. Following the program, attendees will return to the Cache DUP Museum for a tour and discussion. There will be a spot in the museum to sit together and eat lunch (either pack a lunch or stop and grab take-out on the way to the museum).
