For the 2022 legislative session, we are collaborating with organizations across the cultural industry in our advocacy efforts. With the surge of COVID cases, we have scaled down our original plans for in-person activities at the Capitol. During the advocacy days, individuals representing the entire cultural industry will help legislators understand the crucial role of culture such as the arts, museums, libraries, film, humanities, and STEM play in communities while giving Capitol regulars and visitors a chance to participate in engaging interactive activities. If your organization would like to provide an activity please see the information below. How you can be involved in advocacy efforts: - Participate in the 45 Days of Advocacy activities from where ever you are in the state.
- Have your organization provide an interactive activity in the Rotunda on February 1 (see schedule below). Sign up here.
- Help pass out Cultural Champion Awards to legislators on February 1 and 3. Sign up here.
- Support the Legislative Dinner as a sponsor. (In light of the current COVID surge we are limiting attendance this year to legislators and sponsors). Learn more here.
