Join us in a stroll around Salt Lake City's own visionary art environment: Gilgal Garden. The garden contains twelve original sculptural arrangements and over 70 stones engraved with scriptures, poems, and philosophical texts. Each represents an idea that rang of truth to Thomas Child, the artist and creator of Gilgal, in his life-long spiritual quest. Together, the sculptures and stones create a landscape of meaning and a unique work of art.
Ongoing conservation on portions of the stone work and sculptures has been one of the goals of the Friends of Gilgal Garden, and Judi Short, the President of Friends of Gilgal Garden will join us and will be available to answer questions.
To ensure the safety of staff and attendees this event will be limited to 15 in-person attendees (all state health protocols will be enforced including face coverings). You may also choose to attend this event virtually.
Registration required. UMA Members: Free | General Public: $15
