Poster Proposal Deadline: Friday, July 8, 2016 Whether developing an exhibition, searching for new funding, or reaching out to engage your audience, it is critical to know where you as an organization want to go. A solid mission and plan will build staff unity and focus. From there, the intersection of your mission and your community – be that your hometown, the expanded Utah region, or the professional museum world - can become an incredible source of support, strength, and inspiration. Where have you been? Where do you want to go? Who can best help you to get there? We invite you to explore the opportunity and potential of local connections as we examine the untapped resources in our own backyard.
UMA is seeking people interested in sharing their stories, successes, and challenges with the Utah museum community in posters that present strategies and ideas for strengthening the future of Utah museums, their programs, collections, and communities.
The Poster Session is an opportunity to share your research and/or projects in an informal setting. If your proposal is accepted you will be required to make a poster according to the dimensions detailed below. During the Poster Session, you will have a chance to answer questions and interact with Conference attendees regarding your poster.
How to submit Submission period has ended.
