Get to Know Keynote Speaker Marsha Semmel


We are so pleased to be bringing Marsha Semmel as our keynote speaker for this year’s conference. She comes with years of experience working with foundations, libraries, museums, and other cultural organizations. She consults on strategic planning, 21st Century learning, leadership, cultural policy, and strategic partnerships and collaborations. She is currently a Senior Advisor to the Noyce Leadership institute, and she is a former Director of the Institute of Museum and Library Services. She has worked at museums across the country, and is well versed on the successes, challenges, expectations, and overall state of cultural institutions in today’s society.
