Being proactive rather than reactive can be challenging for museums facing so many changes, obstacles, and fluctuating resources. Proactive museums connect to their community, employ best practices, seek to be intentional, and push forward with the resources they have—while usually already facing capacity issues. Learn more about the strategies and practices that allow museums to overcome challenges proactively. Explore how we anticipate future needs, engage with partners and visitors, and explore avenues toward positive impact.
